Peningkatan Belajar Mahasiswa dan Publikasi Dosen Universitas Brawijaya melalui Program Kuliah Tamu pada Mata Kuliah Kimia Unsur

Abstract


Di Departemen Kimia Universitas Brawijaya, Kimia Unsur merupakan mata kuliah wajib di semester 3 untuk program S1. Kuliah tamu dibutuhkan untuk tujuan meningkatkan kualitas belajar Kimia Unsur dan publikasi dosen  pengampunya terkait materi kuliah tersebut. Dua metode diterapkan untuk mencapai tujuan, meliputi kuliah daring 100 menit dan publikasi kolaboratif dosen UB dan dosen tamu dengan pilihan  skema B,  batch 5, kelas C, topik asam-basa Lewis, dan dievaluasi melalui pengisian quisioner. Publikasi tambahan meliputi presentasi di seminar internasional BASIC 2025 dan publikasi di jurnal EDUKATIF ini. Hasil evaluasi terhadap materi kuliah (konsep dan aplikasi) memberikan hasil 50% baik, 43.5% sangat baik, dan 6,5% cukup. Untuk penyampaian materi dicapai 56.5% baik, 34,8% sangat baik, dan 8,7% cukup. Kualitas review artikel oleh dosen tamu mendapat nilai 54,3% baik, 42,9% sangat baik, dan 2,8% cukup. Proses publikasi kolaboratif  meningkatkan kecepatan proses publikasi 63, 4% hari sejak penyerahan (submit)  hingga diterima (accepted). Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah bahwa program kuliah tamu dapat meningkatkan kualitas belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Kimia Unsur, serta kualitas dan kecepatan proses publikasi dosen pengampunya
