Penerapan Layanan Spiritiual untuk Membentuk Spiritualitas dan Meminimalisir Tingkat Stress Mahasiswa
Abstract
Layanan spiritual merupakan bagian penting dalam pendidikan tinggi Katolik yang berperan dalam pembentukan spiritualitas mahasiswa dan membantu mereka menghadapi tekanan akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kontribusi layanan spiritual terhadap pembentukan spiritualitas dan pengurangan stres akademik mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Keagamaan Katolik STAKat Negeri Pontianak. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 248 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik *proportionate stratified random sampling*. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner mengenai layanan spiritual, spiritualitas mahasiswa, dan stres akademik, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, korelasi Pearson, dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan spiritual dan spiritualitas mahasiswa berada pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan stres akademik berada pada kategori sedang. Analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa layanan spiritual memiliki hubungan positif yang kuat dengan spiritualitas mahasiswa (r = 0,724; p < 0,001) dan hubungan negatif yang signifikan dengan stres akademik (r = ?0,483; p < 0,001). Analisis regresi mengonfirmasi bahwa layanan spiritual berkontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan spiritualitas mahasiswa dan menurunkan stres akademik. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan layanan spiritual yang terintegrasi dengan pendampingan pastoral dan dukungan psikososial dalam pendidikan tinggi Katolik.
